When West Knox Leaf Removal started, it was partly from frustration of not being able to find a landscaper who wanted to come pick up our smaller leaf pile. It can sometimes be hard to reach the right person, get a quote, and find someone reliable to do the pick-up.

While we no longer provide pick-up service ourselves, we have a significant network of landscapers in the west Knoxville community that we trust and believe will deliver the same level of service we would expect.

We can help you find your right match to take care of your fall leaf piles in a timely, cost-effective, and professional manner and they’ll take those leaves to a recycling center to be turned to mulch. Just tell us what you need.

We hope you return for your leaf removal needs in the fall, but as of April 1 all of our landscaping partners have shifted to full-time mowing and have taken down their leaf collection setups as leave have either started to break down or become unmanageable. Come October, we will return our service request form so that we can connect our neighbors in Knoxville with someone who can help them. In the interim, if you still have leaves to get removed, you may want to reach out directly to a landscaper and see if they can mow them up.

Curbside Leaf Removal

Ensure leaves are in a pile, not spread in a row along the roadside. This makes pick-up easier and faster.
No vehicles can be blocking access to the leaf piles. Please ensure room for our truck and tow trailer in front of your property where the leaves are piled.
No branches or shrub trimmings can be in the piles as they can clog the vacuum hose.
Leaves should not be piled on top of mulch, rocks, or landscaping as they will also be vacuumed up.
Make sure leaves are not piled IN the roadway or near sewer drains, but along the curbside in piles in your yard.
Pets should be kept clear of the pile during removal. We don't want any accidents to happen.
It is dangerous for us to operate our equipment in the rain or snow, and wet leaves are difficult to vacuum up. Inclement weather may delay pick-ups.
Avoid lawn damage by not leaving leaves on your lawn all fall. If you're waiting for a single pick-up, rake into a pile, then move that pile toward the curb right before pick-up. If not, it can smother and kill grass underneath.
If you have leaves to move a long distance, like from your back yard, use a tarp to rake the leaves on, then pull the tarp to your curb and dump. It's fast, easy, and free.
